Friends for Life

The boys in Ms. Smith's 5th class, along with the help of Ms. Kennedy, are delighted to be piloting a new programme called "FRIENDS for Life" this year. The programme, in conjunction with our national SPHE curriculum, is designed to help children cope with feelings of fear, worry and sadness by building emotional resilience and self-esteem. The boys have been thoroughly enjoying learning new relaxation, problem solving and coping skills and sharing their 'happy thoughts' each week.
