Time for the Park

Senior infants had a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day in the park on Thursday in the summer sunshine. They had a picnic, played football and had fun in the playground. They heard the history of Bushy Park and the Shaw family and visited the Shell House.

Sunny Days

We think summer may have arrived at last with the classroom windows and doors thrown open. There was a very outdoor feel to the place as Ms. Stewart and Mr. Smith took their classes to the back yard for instruction.

Conor, Evan and James enjoyed a visit to Italy with their soccer club, Terenure FC where they finished fourth in the Jezolo Challenge.

Don't Try This At Home!!!

Ireland's chief instructor in WSKF Shotokan Karate, Brendan Perry, together with trainees Lee Kelly (past pupil) and David Gannon, treated the boys to a demo of the sport in the lovely June sunshine this morning. Brendan was introduced to Michael, our own Tae-Kwon-Do expert.

. . . and Don't Try This At Home Either !!

Chemist Ms. Aoife Hewitt (Daniel's Mum) captivated her audience of junior infants with some science demos this morning. Ms. Devenney's boys enjoyed seeing how nappies are made and then viewed an explosion of chemical elements entitled elephant toothpaste. Thanks Aoife, come back again soon.
