More Kudos to St. Pius

The Heather Cup came home to St. Pius (for the seventh time, we're reliably informed) when Charlie, Morgan, Jude, Michael, Elliot, Sam, Eoghan, Taylor and Eoin beat a team from Bishop Galvin's in a nail biting penalty shootout.

Ross brought the Dublin District Schoolboys' League Cup to school on Tuesday which he won with Templeogue Utd (U12). Well done Ross, that's terrific.

Chinese Noodle Salad

As part of our language Aistear programme with infants, the boys were served some new words for their repertoires (and some new recipes for their taste buds!!) Thanks Ms. Pléamonn, they were scrumptious!!

A huge congratulations to our Junior Green team who managed to win this year's league undefeated. There were many hard-fought matches along the way with victories over St. Joseph's, Scoil Lorcáin, Bishop Galvin, Scoil Bhríde and Ballyroan. The boys showed superb skill, heart and commitment throughout.
Also, our Junior Navy and Junior White teams took part in an exciting blitz involving four schools. It was a great day and thoroughly enjoyed by the boys. Well done to all involved. The future of Dublin hurling looks bright!

Tri-Golf in First Class

Inspired by great golfers such as Shane Lowry, Mr. Ryan and Rory McIlroy . . . Ms. Kennedy's first class were delighted to get out for a spot of golfing in the summer sun!

Old MacDonald Pays a Visit

Now, if he comes home today and says that he saw pigs in the front yard - - - he's not telling a porky (sorry, couldn't resist). The mobile farm visited St. Pius today and and the boys visited the animals.

Successful Ventures

Well done to Daniel who won Player of the Year with Terenure Rugby Club and Zach who was awarded first prize in Feis Maitiú for his captivating recital of Brian by Doug McLeod.
Matthew painted this beautiful picture of a sea-side scene. Ms Gallagher and her first class boys could not believe that this masterpiece was painted by a seven year old boy. We might spot it in an art gallery in years to come. Well done Matthew.

Gordon, Morgan, Killian and John gave a marvellous presentation in Faughs. We hear that Mr. Smyth was put under pressure but coped very well.
