Jubilee Run

Well done to all the boys who participated in the Jubilee Run in the warm June sunshine of 27th June. Sean Quinn romped home in first place ahead of the many boys who are learning the pleasures of running and competing against their own personal records. Thanks to teachers Michael Smyth, Lorcan Coyle, Kate Waldron, Áine Carroll and Christina Brennan for making it all take place.

Sixth Class Donate to Charity

6th class boys voted to decide on the charity to which to donate some Confirmation money. Each boy was invited to carry out some research and make a presentation. After a dramatic voting procedure, the Berkely Balcony charity came out on top. A cheque will be presented to a representative on Graduation day.

Hurlers Play Friendly in Kilkenny

Our senior hurling team visited Kilkenny to take on The Cats in preparation for our final in Croke Park next week. We had a great day playing a selection from Clontubrid and Lisdowney National Schools. Afterwards, we went to visit Mr. Robinson's (St. Pius former teacher) new school where we had a party and learned about life in the country! He even had some advice for our boys ahead of their big day.
