Templeogue College Celebrates 50 Years

On Thursday 2nd February at 7.30pm Mass will be celebrated in St. Pius Church to mark the 50th birthday of Templeogue College. All are welcome.
A concert will take place on Monday 20th March in The National Concert Hall at 8:00pm. Tickets available from the N.C.H. Adults 20 euro
Students 10 euro
Family tickets 50 euro
A limited number of tickets will be available from Templeogue College.

Building Bridges

The boys in Ms. Redmond's 5th class became engineers this week when they designed, made and tested the strength of various bridges. The boys made their structures using only 20 straws and some selotape! Some bridges were able to hold almost 500g. Well done boys.

Mr Murtagh’s Boys' Healthy Granola

Ingredients:
300g of porridge oats
120g of ground almonds
45g of desiccated coconut
100g of flaked almonds
100g of sunflower seeds
100g pumpkin seeds
100g Chia seeds
50g of raisins
300g mixed nuts
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
100ml of coconut oil
60ml of honey/maple syrup

Method:
Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees.
Roughly chop the nuts.
Put all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix.
Pour in the wet ingredients and mix.
Spread onto a baking tin and bake for 20-30 minutes.

Serving:
Serve with natural yoghurt, honey and your choice of fresh fruit.
We had blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, bananas, apples and oranges and it was delicious!!!!!!
