Our front yard became an animal sanctuary for a few days this week with the visit of Maperath Farm. Ducks and hens and lambs and goats and calves
and elephants and tigers and snakes and crocodiles and . . . .Farmer Joe was put through his paces answering questions with one fellow asking him had he heard of the magic tractor (apparently it turned into a field!!) and another asking him which sport horses loved most (for the record it's stable tennis).
Sixth Class Visits Microsoft
Mr. Glynn's sixth class visited the Microsoft Offices in Leopardstown on Friday. (Thanks to Daniel's Dad for helping to organise this). As part of the Dreamspace experience they had the chance to programme devices and to learn of some of Microsoft's plans for the digital future. Microsoft also provided lunch for the boys and gave everyone a party bag when leaving - thanks Microsoft.
