A Night to Remember

The choir had the best time ever at the Peace Proms in the RDS on Sunday night. Performing with 2000 (yes, two thousand) other primary school choir children, our singers got a standing ovation from the waiting crowd when they arrived back here after the performance. Well done boys, a super night and thanks to choir team, Áine Carroll, Niamh Redmond, Eimear Brogan, Áine Maxwell, Ciara Robinson and Ailish McWeeney for making it all happen, and not forgetting Cynthia for all her help. Thanks to the many parents who attended for your support and encouragement.

Quiz Team Finishes in Top Three

Our senior team (Henry, Ashen, Oran and Patrick) put in a great performance on Friday night to finish in third place in a hotly contested competition. Well done especially to our friends in GNS (Catherine, Maria, Jane and Elaine) for a very impressive win.
Our Junior Team (Alan, Rory, Levi and Tomás) also had a great run. They were in contention for much of the competition but some tough rounds near the end left them a few points adrift. We'll publish the questions on our quiz page later in the week so you get take a look and see how you might have fared.

So, what exactly are these Beebots?

© St. Pius X BNS

A Beebot is a robot disguised as a bee which can be programmed to follow simple routines. They are very elegant and user-friendly, so much so, that even our senior infants can make them do magic.
