Dan in Ms. Maxwell's class undertook some extra work last night writing a short story based on his reading. Maith thú, Dan.
An-obair ar siúl inniu 's na paistí ag imirt Biongó.
Scríobh dalta Seán i rang Usail Murtagh na línte seo a leanas do Raidió na Scoile . . .
Dia dhaoibh ar maidin,
Mar is eol daoibh, is í seachtain na Gaeilge an tseachtain seo.
Is féidir linn a lan Gaeilge a labhairt nó do chúpla focail a úsáideann.
Ceapaim gurb í an Ghaeilge an teanga is tabhachtaí inár dtír.
Go raibh míle maith agaibh as do chuid ama!

Confirmation Day in St. Pius
Saturday with Bishop Eamonn Walsh proved to be a wonderful day for our sixth class boys. Although it was cold, the sun shone and everyone was in great form. The ceremony was very beautiful, helped to no small degree by the boys' school choir whose singing added so much to the occasion. Well done to Confirmation teachers Mr. Glynn and Mr. Dillon, and the choir team, Ms. Carroll, Ms. Redmond, Mr Geraghty, Ms. Brogan, Ms McWeeeney, Ms. Maxwell and Ms. Robinson.
Fourth Class Have a Blast
World Book Day
Mr. Dillon's sixth class boys visited junior infants on World Book day to read some of their favourte stories . . . while Ms. O'Connor's boys shared some reading with Ms. Corcoran's senior infants.
First and third classes engaging in some paired reading to celebrate World Book day.
Matthew (Ms. Redmond's Class) shows part of the lovely book he wrote and illustrated while Leo displays the rapper he fashioned from clay. Meanwhile, in Ms. Crosbie's fourth class . . . . Stephen, the owner of Foam Coffeehouse, came in yesterday so the boys could interview him in preparation for their science exhibition at the RDS this week. They found out lots of useful information that we can use for their project on Thursday!
The battery boys have been busy counting and tabulating the batteries collected in each classroom . . . keep them rolling in.
