Swimming is a skillful sport. There are four strokes in swimming. Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Frontcrawl. There is another race called a medley which consists of all the four strokes.

Ireland's Olympic Swimming team in 2012 consisted of Barry Murphy, Syreika McMahon, Melenie Nocher and Grainne Murphy(who didn't swim all of her events due to an illness).
