Hurling

Hurling is played with shaped ash wood sticks called hurls and a small tennis ball sized ball called a sliotar. The aim is to score more points or goals than the other team. To score you must hit the sliotar with your hurl over or under the bar. (3 points for under 1 point for over.) Each team is made up of 15 players 1 goalkeper 6 defenders 2 midfielders and 6 forwards. The game is 70 minutes long with 35 minutes each half and a 15 minute half time.

Gaelic is played with a leather ball simular to a soccer ball. Like in Hurling the aim is to score mare than the other team. To score you must kick the ball over or under the bar. (3 points for under 1 point for over) Each team is made up of 15 players 1 goalkeper 6 defenders 2 midfielders and 6 forwards. The game is 70 minutes long with 35 minutes each half and a 15 minute half time. There are no hand balls and to pass you can fist it to someone or kick it.
