School's out until Monday 3rd September. Please be advised that no updates will be made to this website and that emails sent to firstname.lastname@example.org addresses may not be read until September. Have a lovely summer, from all in St. Pius X BNS
The St. Pius X BNS community wishes a fond farewell to Ms. Miriam Marron on her retirement. Miriam has taught in GNS for many years becoming Principal some years ago. During her tenure, the friendly relationship between the two schools has gone from strength to strength. We would like to wish her successor, Ms. Áine Doyle every success as she takes over the role in September. L-R in photo are Ms. Áine Doyle (incoming Principal GNS), Mr. Lorcan Coyle (Principal BNS), Ms. Miriam Marron (outgoing Principal BNS) and Mr. Liam Gaynor (Deputy Principal BNS).
Our 4th annual Jubilee Cup run took place in Bushy Park in the blistering heat. With a field of over 50 the competition was tough. Boys have been training since before Christmas and completed the three laps in record time. After a tight finish Adam in 5th class was the well deserved victor, narrowly beating Daniel 2nd, Conor 3rd, Harry in 4th and Josh in 5th. Well done to all the boys who completed the run.
Best wishes to our sixth class boys who leave us this week. They have wonderful futures ahead of them and will do themselves and their families and this school proud in years to come. In the photos are Matthew (academic achievement award), Daniel (sportsmanship award) and John (sports award) . . . not forgetting Sam Lewis (absent from photos - academic achievement)
