At the beginning of 2024 Adam in Mr. Faherty’s 5th Class won his first gold medal in the Dublin indoor championship in the long jump with only one day of training with a jump of 3 metres and 83 centimetres wining by 11 cm. A while after that his brother Dylan in Ms. Devenney’s class won the league 500m by about 3 seconds.
After that Adam went to nationals in the long jump because he won the Dublin round and came 4th place with an amazing jump of 4m and 11cm!
Time passed and the Dublin championships came up for Dylan and he absolutely cruised through the competition and bet his nearest rival by 5 seconds!
Then Adam won the Dublin outdoor championship with an outstanding jump of 4m 31cm! Then rolled around another league. Dylan and Adam both had had entered and both were successful. Adam won the long jump and Dylan won the sprint and 500 m.
Then came the outdoor nationals and placed 5th with a jump of 4m 18cm.
The boys have had a very busy and successful season and we look forward to hearing more about their success going forward.
