The boys in Ms. Herity’s class were on tour this week to Lullymore. They had a farmtastic time, embracing all aspects of country life. An undoubtable highlight was the bus trip up and down to Lullymore.

Ms. Mooney’s boys were on tour this week. The boys headed off to Lullymore on what was a lovely sunny days. The boys got a taste of country life and made a few new friends along the way.

The boys in Ms. Mooney’s class have been making the best of the weather, getting out on the yard and conducting some science experiment. Although it hasn’t been that windy, the boys used balloons to conduct their experiments on the yard. Look how much fun they had.

Well done to Daniel, Chris, Jack and Richard in 6th class who represented the school at the Castle Cup on Monday. The team looked the part with their new gear and enjoyed the sun as they swapped the classroom for the golf course. Well done boys.

The sun shone brightly over St. Pius X BNS on Saturday as close to 120 children received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Thanks to Fr. Bradley for celebrating the mass and to the parish team who helped coordinate on the day. Thanks to Mr. Smyth, Mr. Geraghty and Celine for helping to prepare the boys for today.

Senan in Mr. Cunningham’s 5th class was supporting the Dubs on Wednesday evening as they overcame Offaly in the Leinster minor Football championship. His brother Eoghan, a past pupil of St. Pius played a big part in the match and helped the Dubs reach the final V Kildare next Wednesday. I’s sure Senan will be on the road again supporting

Congratulations to the St Pius X BNS Tennis Senior Team for winning the Leinster Schools’ Final yesterday in Greystones. This is the FIRST time in our school’s history to have won this competition after losing last year’s final. Well done to the boys on all their hard work over the last number of months preparing for this league campaign. A
