Sunday, April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. There were lots of celebrations in Ms. Herity’s class. Jackson gave his classmates a wonderful presentation all about Autism, and the boys learned that autism can make amazing things happen!

Frankie Donegan in Ms O’Dell’s 3rd class completed his first ever guitar exam last week. He came into school today to show off his official ‘Trinity College London’ certificate, in which he received a ‘Merit’ in Grade 1 Classical guitar. We look forward to seeing him up on stage in a few years time! Well done, Frankie!

On Tuesday the boys from fourth class were privileged to have an expert on wildlife and biodiversity show them what was on our doorstep in Bushy Park and along the River Dodder. The boys from 6th class took a well earned break from the hard work and headed to Croke Park on tour. The boys covered every inch of ground in the stadium, from pitchside to the top of level 7. Our 6th class boys were in Wayside Celtic this week to compete in the FAI 5 a side tournament. In extremely tough conditions, the boys fought hard and although the results didn’t go our way, the boys had a great day.
