Ms. Herity’s first class boys headed for the hills on Thursday with a nature walk in Bushy Park. The boys searched far and wide for minibeasts while also looking for Autumn seeds. plenty of acorns were found and when all the hard work was done, the boys made a quick stop to the playground to examine the equipment. Our senior white footballers had a great win against tough opponents St. Mary’s Rathfarnham yesterday. With the teams level at half time, the boys had a strong second half performance to pull away with the win. Well done to the boys and their managers Ms Herity and Mr. Deery.

Our 6th class hurlers played their first match of the year yesterday putting on a display of skills in Faughs. The boys played a tough match against our near rivals St. Joseph’s in front of some top executives of a US company. Well done to all the boys and Mr. Faherty and Ms O’ Sullivan. Gaelic Games has returned to all elements of St. Pius X  this week with the return of our club GPOs, Tommy from Faughs is back in on Thursday taking the Senior Infants, 2nd classes and 3rd classes for hurling while Kevin from Templeogue Synge Street returned on Tuesday taking Junior Infants and 1st class for football.
