These workshops were funded by South Dublin CoCo and were focused on the topic of ‘Plastic Action’. The boys learned lots about how plastic is made and all the ways in which we use

Our Green Schools Committee proudly took part in the National Spring Clean last week! Students worked together to litter pick around the school in the sunshine. The committee was very impressed with how little litter was around the school! Well done to all the boys for their efforts with keeping the school a litter free place!

Sean from Mr. Finnegan’s 5th class, Matt from Mr Geraghty’s 4th class and Toby from Ms. Lohan’s 4th class came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively at a Yu-Gi-Oh! Competition in UCD over the weekend. What an amazing achievement for the boys.

There was brilliant excitement last Sunday as Terenure U13s were crowned Leinster Cup Champions after a fantastic win in the final! It was an extra special day for St Pius, with so many of our boys playing their part in the team’s success. J.P. Carbery in Mr. Geraghty’s 4th class was busy recently putting his art skills to use in the city. He was working alongside a number of other graffiti artists and created this amazing design. We’re all very excited to see his future projects.

The choir finished off their singing year with a well deserved pizza party. The boys showed great dedication meeting every Monday after school since October. This was an extra special year because the choir got to show off their super singing at the schools first ever spring concert ‘Spring into Summer’. Well done boys!

Our annual school bake sale was a wonderful success this year, bringing together students, staff, and families for a day full of delicious treats and great company. Our school soccer teams proudly represented us at the FAI 5-a-side Tournament in Drumcondra on Wednesday. Both teams played out of their skin, showing fantastic teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the day.
