Sebastian from Ms Lohan’s class and Bobby from Mr Geraghty’s Class both won Player of the Year awards for their respective teams at Templeogue United at the weekend. Their teams finished strong this year and both boys played a big role in their success. Well done Bobby and Seb!
Rian in Mr Geraghty’s class won U11’s player of the year for his club St. John Bosco FC at an awards ceremony on Sunday. He plays as a central midfielder and has been with the club for 5 years. Well done Rian!
The boys in 4th class had a great day on their school tour to Footee. They took part in human foosball, bubble football and laser tag. They finished off with a round of foot golf. There were no hole in ones but plenty under par!
Sean from Mr. Finnegan’s 5th class, Matt from Mr Geraghty’s 4th class and Toby from Ms. Lohan’s 4th class came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively at a Yu-Gi-Oh! Competition in UCD over the weekend. What an amazing achievement for the boys.
J.P. Carbery in Mr. Geraghty’s 4th class was busy recently putting his art skills to use in the city. He was working alongside a number of other graffiti artists and created this amazing design. We’re all very excited to see his future projects.

Tomorrow marks the end of an era as our Lollipop lady Pat retires. Pat always had a friendly smile for the boys and girls of Pius X NS as she safely got them to school. Enjoy your well earned retirement Pat.
The green fingers in Ms. Pleamonn’s class paid off today as the boys got reap what they sowed as they harvested their early potatoes. It was a great crop this year and they managed to avoid any diseases such as blight to ensure every boy got their own spud. Well done boys
5th Class finished the year on a high today with their school tour to Emerald Park. The boys (and their teachers) had a great days fun on the rides and rollercoasters. It caps a great year and the boys are looking forward to returning in September as “Top Dogs ” of St. Pius X
