The boys in ms. O’Neill’s Senior Infants invited their Big Buddies from 6th Class into their classroom! The younger boys have been busy practising their reading skills, and the 6th Class boys were delighted to listen to them read. A lovely afternoon of reading, learning and buddy time!
Ms. Brogan’s junior infants and Mr. Finnegans 5th class have buddied up this year and made their first visit to Bushy Park for an autumn nature walk. They looked out for all the signs of autumn, collected autumn leaves and squeezed in a visit to the playground too.
Ms Carroll’s 3rd class explored construction in art last week. They worked together to plan, design and build houses from a variety of recyclable materials. It was wonderful to see their great team work, sharing creative ideas, and lots of fun and laughter!
A fantastic start for our two Junior teams this yesterday! Both teams got their seasons off to a winning start with great victories against St. Joseph’s and Ballyroan BNS. Well done to all the boys for their effort, teamwork and determination. A brilliant way to get the season underway!
