Last Thursday, St. Pius X BNS celebrated the feast of St. Brigid’s day schoolwide. While our junior end coloured her cloak, and learned about the great work she did looking after the poor and sick, the senior end followed the tradition of making St. Brigid’s day crosses. With rushes sourced from the west of Ireland, the boys took to the process of weaving the crosses very quickly. The boys in 6th class brought their crosses to Terenure College to Mass and had them blessed by Fr. Eanna. Well done boys
