Ms Pleamonn’s 3rd Class are researching their family trees at the moment. The boys are tracing their roots and completing projects. Jamie uncovered some very interesting facts about his great great grandfather. Frank McCormack was a soldier in 1916 and Jamie brought in his gun belt that he wore during the rising. It is over 100 years old!! Jamie also brought in census records from 1911 which show his great great great grandmother Margaret McCabe and great great grand mother Beatrice McCabe. A great piece of history.
