Mr. Smyth’s and Mr. Curtin’s classes took part in an art competition run by the Dublin Lions club just before Christmas. Both 5th classes designed peace posters on the theme of; ‘we are all connected’. The overall winner was Luke from Mr. Smyth’s class and the runners up in both classes were Oisín , Seán and Liam from Mr. Smyth’s and Coen, Greg and Jack in Mr. Curtin’s. It was a very enjoyable competition and we look forward to taking part next year. Luke’s winning poster will now go on to the Dublin chapter of the competition.
