After a two years absence, St. Pius X welcomed parents to our annual carol services. First up was the the Junior carol service, which hosted our Junor, Senior and 1st classes and their parents. Always a cheerful event. there was great fun and festive cheer. Well done to Jack, Oisin, Pearse and Tristan, in 6th class who narrative and to the choir and their soloists who greatly added to all the boys’ singing and actions. Thanks too to Ms. Maxwell who was MC for the service
We followed promptly on to our senior carol service, which hosted the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes. It was a full house, with only standing room. Well done to Aaron, Yohann, Ciaran and Jamie who narrated and Mr Geraghty who was the MC.
All this couldn’t have happened without the collective support of all our staff. The choir, under the stewardship of Ms. Carrol, Ms. Redmond, Ms. Mooney, Ms. Gallagher and Mr. Cunningham, have been practicing weekly after school since September. All classes contributed to the art display which decorated our hall very festively. Finally, all the parents who came and supported the two services.
We look forward to a peaceful couple of days before we close for Christmas break at 12.00 on Wednesday
