Well done to our Soccer teams who were in action at the FAI 5-a-side blitz in Balgaddy, Lucan on Thursday. The competition was extremely tough and the huge number of games played required focus, energy and consistency! One of our two teams entered succeeded in winning the overall tournament and will now go forward to the Dublin Finals in April.

Eileen Warren, our schools’ psychologist is retiring shortly from National Educational Psychological Service. Eileen has helped so many of our pupils and always arrives to St Pius X BNS with a smile. We will really miss her advice and support and wish her well in retirement.

Congratulations to our Yellow Ball Tennis team who beat St. Michael’s in their encounter today (Monday). The team have won an impressive 8 matches from 9 in their fixtures to date. The final group game will take place in Templeogue Tennis Club and is against Castle Park. The team will progress to the next stage of the Division 2 league

The boys in Ms. O’Kelly’s Junior Infants started school in St. Pius X Boys’ NS yesterday playing loads of games and making new friends. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and even the teachers had some fun with the new toys and Aistear equipment!
