The boys in Ms. Crosbie’s class  got on their tractors and headed off to farm for their school. Having rounded up the sheep first, the boys got to kid around with the resident goat before visiting the playground.

The Boys in Ms. Mooney’s class had a great time last week on their school tour in Glenroe Farm. The boys got to meet and greet all the animals and even got to hold some!! A few of the boys have now decided they are going to move down the country and become farmers.

  Congratulations to Joel in Ms.Pleamonn’s 3rd class who recently won player of the year with Templeogue United. Joel follows in his uncle’s footsteps; Brighton and Kilmarnock legend Gary Dicker. Rumour has it there could be interest from LA Galaxy to sign Joel in the near future!

St. Pius X BNS Athletics team took part in the Cumann na mBunscol Santry Sports in Morton Stadium. Thanks to the training of Ms. Goddard and Ms. Maxwell the team came home with three medals. The boys in Ms. Pleamonn’s Class were looking at ways of incorporating sustainability into the classroom. They decided that Art would be their project. Using recyclable materials the boys made Ginger Bread houses.

The boys in 3rd class spent Thursday in Terenure College Hurling with Tommy from Faughs. Tommy set up a blitz for the boys to finish their 6 weeks training programme. The sun shone and the sliotars flew and a great day was had by all. Thanks to Tommy and Faughs for their continue support. We look forward to 2025 when

The St. Pius X Art Exhibition began today in the schools PE hall. Last month, each boy tapped into their creative minds to paint/colour and draw a masterpiece, which is now on show in the hall. Make sure to have a look tomorrow morning or after school at their creative genius.

Aoroh in Ms. Herity’s Class made a visit to Mr. Coyle’s office this week with some great news. He had finished his first book ‘Andrew’s Adventure’. Aoroh spent  a lot of time and effort creating his first publication, and all while doing his 1st class work. Look out David Walliams, there is a new author in town.
