Last week, for the first time in 3 years, the boys held face to face class assemblies. The assemblies are a great way to acknowledge the work classes are doing while also reminding the boys about a few important things around the school. Mr. Reamonn, who organised the assemblies also told the boys about two new initiatives he is starting. The first, is schoolwide yard mentoring system called the Yardaí (pardon the pun) and the second is a new student led newsletter called the Pius People. We look forward to starting and participating in these new programmes. To finish, as is tradition, each class performed a song or poem they had learned in the last few weeks for the group.
The assemblies were a great success and we look forward to doing them again in a few weeks time.
