After an absence, Sam Maguire returned to St. Pius X BNS yesterday to celebrate with the boys across the school. Accompanied by our local Dublin superstar Lorcan O Dell, and Kevin, our TSS GPO, every class got to meet Lorcan and Sam and ask questions about what it is like to be a Dublin footballer. To celebrate we also got to wear blue, to show our support for the Dubs. Greeted by our student council, Lorcan and Sam were given a tour of the school and shown some of our sporting success.
Thanks to Lorcan O Dell, and Kevin from TSS for the visit and in particular the advice they game to our football teams which are coming towards the end of their seasons. Lorcan managed to answer hundreds of questions and even presented the school with a signed jersey. It will take pride of place in reception.
