The soccer team had a great win last week over St. Marks last week in a wet and windy Larkview Park. Two wins from two leaves the boys top of the league and looking forward to a knockout game. Well done boys.

Our senior Greens and Whites got their season underway yesterday with a game in Terenure College and Tymon Park. Two very competitive games took place with the Greens coming away with a narrow win and the whites a narrow loss. Well done to all the boys and their teachers. Our junior leagues begin on Tuesday.

The boys in Junior Infants took delivery of their lovely colourful new mats this week. Already the boys have got great use out of them. With the help of their teachers, Ms. O Neill and Ms. Stewart, the boys are thinking up more and more ways they can use the mats.

Our Senior soccer team had their second outing last week in Larkview v our near rivals. St. Joseph’s Terenure. After a very tight contest, the boys came away with a victory. Well done to both teams on a very sporty match.

Well done to Cillian and Fiach in 6th class who refereed in Croke Park at half time of the National League Div 1 & 2 finals over the Easter holidays. With over 50,000 in the stadium, the boys gave an excellent display in refereeing, following in the footsteps of our former teacher Mr. Gough. Well done boys!
