6th class authors
Some of the boys in 6th class had the opportunity to become their own authors and to write their own books. With the help of Ms. O’Dell the boys planned, typed, edited and published their books. Below are some descriptions of the plots of the stories from the authors themselves. Well done to Joel, Jamie, James and Liam for their great work!

Charlie on Christmas “I wrote a fiction book about a young boy who goes on a big adventure to go save Christmas! However, it’s not as easy as it may seem. There are many obstacles which the main character named Charlie must overcome, from ferries, to the weather and people blocking his path. Will Charlie be able to save Santa, Mrs. Clause and even Christmas?” – Joel Dicker, 6th class
Jamie’s Time Machine “My book is about a young boy called Jamie, who went to his friend’s dad’s house to shockingly discover a time machine! Jamie accidentally went back in time and the time machine broke. Will he be able to come back to his normal life? You will have to read to find out!” – Jamie O’Reilly, 6th class
The Star of Elliott “My book the star of Elliot is about a young boy that lives in Dublin, Ireland that loves football. His talent allows him to make his way up to the top teams. Elliot wants to make his dad proud and play for his country and his favorite team. Will he have what it takes to make it to the top, to play for his dream team Liverpool?” – James Shiels, 6th class
Christmas in Bundoran “I wrote my book about of the time that I spent Christmas with my grandparents in 2014. My mom, my dad and my big brother Ryan was there and my granny. It was one of my favourite days ever!” – Liam Crowe, 6th class
