We were very excited to see Ms. O’Dell’s 2nd Class featured on RTÉ’s news2day!
The question of the week was:
“Why is it important that people have a say in how their country is run?”
2nd class shared some brilliant answers:
- Shay: “It is important to make your voice heard to get new things in our local area like more parks and activities.”
- Liam: “So we pick the right person to run our country.”
- Alex D: “It’s important because we need everyone to listen to follow the rules.”
- James: “To help with issues like if people don’t have houses or food that the person in charge can help them.”
We are very proud of their thoughtful contributions and delighted that their ideas were shared with viewers all across Ireland!
