A group of our boys from 5th class enjoyed a fantastic day at the Irish Open in the K Club, where they took part in a special literacy writing workshop with a focus on writing for sport. The workshop gave them the opportunity to develop their skills in capturing the excitement and drama of sporting events. To make the day even more memorable, they had the chance to meet sporting heroes Dan Sheehan, Johnny Sexton, and Tommy Bowe – an inspiring experience they won’t soon forget!
