As part of World War 1 research, 6th class students took a hands-on approach to understanding life on the front lines. The boys worked together to build replica trenches, learning about the harsh conditions soldiers faced during the war. They also wrote letters home from the perspective of soldiers in the trenches, capturing the emotions, hopes, and challenges of life during wartime.
