The boys in Ms Carroll’s 3rd class celebrated World Book Day by bringing in some of the books they love to read. The boys had a lovely afternoon sharing their book recommendations with their classmates and swapping books with one another. The classroom was full of energy and positivity, which reminded them of their love of books and reading!
Well done to Senan and Lochlann from Ms. Pléamonn’s class who showed off their fantastic costumes for World Book Day! Senan dressed up as George from George’s Marvellous Medicine, while Lochlann came as a Minecraft character. Great creativity from both boys!
Brendan in Mr. Geraghty’s class put in a great effort dressing up for World Book Day. He loves history and chose a brilliant Irish figure to dress up as, Tom Crean.
2nd class had great fun celebrating World Book Day today by dressing up as their favourite book characters. Ms.O’Dell’s class had a fantastic range of costumes including Willy Wonka, Napoleon, Ernest Shackleton and even a dictionary! It was wonderful to see so much creativity and enthusiasm while celebrating our love of reading.
To celebrate World Book Day, students from Ms. Stewart’s class and Mr. Dillon’s class enjoyed some special buddy reading time together. The children paired up to share stories, practise their reading, and chat about their favourite books. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying reading together!
