It has been an exciting few weeks in Ms Hunt’s 4th Class. Recently, they made their way down to Terenure College for the annual cross country run. After several postponements due to the rain over the last while, they were thrilled to stretch out their legs for the 800m. There was a great atmosphere as they ran with their friends and even returned with some medals! Rian Dever put his Parkrun experience to good use and came in 10th place. Well done to Art McGrath, Ethan Bagnall, Harrison Fowler and Jackson Verrecchia who also celebrated with medals for exceptional sportsmanship.
The sporting success continued outside of school, when Odran Kennedy, Art McGrath, Tom Duggan and Reuben Fitzpatrick reached great heights when they took part in a climbing competition at Awesome Walls. Next stop-Mount Everest!
Harry Ryan had an exciting trip to Newcastle where he met Paul Dummett. Harry’s brother, Ben, had the amazing opportunity to be the Newcastle mascot for the match against Manchester United. Harry proudly cheered him on.
