Recently, Rian from Ms Hunt’s class and Jonah from Mr Geraghty’s class had the incredible opportunity to be the mascots for the Ireland under 20 rugby team. The boys and their families travelled down to Cork where they visited the Centre of Excellence. They toured the training pitch and dressing rooms before getting kitted out in new jerseys, shorts and socks. Finally, it was time for their big moment! They walked through the tunnel with the team and emerged onto the pitch in Virgin Media Park. The boys sang their hearts out to Ireland’s Call and Amhrán na bhFiann.
