Ms. Pleamonn’s boys have been investigating soil structure in geography and science. As an experiment they decided to make a wormery. Using layers of compost, shredded newspapers and some crushed chalk, the boys have created the perfect habitat for these important creatures who move between the different soil layers, making nutrients available to plants.
