Sam in Mr. Smyth’s class was in action on Saturday evening on a cold and windy night in Croke Park. He was the man in the middle for the half time games in the Dublin Mayo match. Although the result didn’t go the Dubs way, Sam has connections to Mayo so wasn’t too concerned for the struggling Dubs. He also has connections in the refereeing world with his uncle Liam, an intercounty referee. Sam managed to run in to Mr. Gough too, who was on duty as well. Well done Sam.
