After a two year break from competitive matches, the boys in 5th and 6th class got back on the pitches of Terenure College in the opening round of the Cumann na mBunscol leagues. With the Senior Navys playing St. Joseph’s and the Senior Greens playing St. Laurences, both enjoyed victories on the day. However, all agreed, it was just great to be back wearing the school jersey again. We look forward to the season ahead and wish the Senior Whites luck next Tuesday in their opening game. Thanks to all the teachers who give up their time after school to train the boys and organise the matches. This year we have a record 66 boys from 5th and 6th playing on teams. Onwards and upwards.
