Our 5th and 6th class footballers are back training hard in preparations for the upcoming Cumann na mBunscol leagues which begin in February. Over 30 boys from 6th and 30th boys from 5th trained on pitches in Terenure College. Under the guidance of over 10 teachers, we have three teams entered to ensure that everyone will get a game. For

The boys in Ms. Pleamonn’s class have been reading about World War I in their English book, more specifically the Christmas football match, played on Christmas Day between the Allies and German forces. Upon further examination of the War, and life during World War I, Luke brought in documents from the war archives showing information about his Great Great Granddad

Tim from Mr.Finnegan’s 3rd class brought in his dad’s world cup 1990 sticker album to show his class for show and tell. Mr.Coyle was very impressed with the blast from the past! Tim mentioned that Paul McGrath is his favourite player in the album. Well done Tim.

What a great surprise we got today from Cian and Senan in Mr. Dillon’s 4th Class. For show and tell Senan revealed some of his amazing painted artwork on canvas which we all were really impressed with. Cian brought in some old currency which some of the class has never seen before! Well done Cian and Senan 🙂

Mr. Smyth’s and Mr. Curtin’s classes took part in an art competition run by the Dublin Lions club just before Christmas. Both 5th classes designed peace posters on the theme of; ‘we are all connected’.
