The boys in Ms. Robinson’s Junior Infants had their first Spooky Halloween in St. Pius X with some great costumes. The boys also had a spooky trail around the school yard. Mr. Coyle was so afraid of all the ghouls and goblins that he kept away from their class for the day.

Our Senior White footballers capped off a successful season with some silverware on Monday after defeating St. Brigid’s Castleknock in Russell Park Castleknock. After a number of postponements due to weather, the boys were rearing to go and took to the field in tough conditions Monday @ 3.00. In a very tightly contested match, the teams went score for score

To celebrate our parish club Faughs reaching the County Hurling Final on Sunday, St. Pius X had a no-uniform day on Friday to support the team. Learning with Lego!   The boys in Ms. O’Dell’s 3rd class were back in action today! They are currently on week 3 of their ‘Young Engineers’ programme. So far, they have learned how to make a motorised car and a swinging pirate ship! This week they focused on motorised conveyors belts!

Fionn from Ms.Dunne’s 2nd class spotted Alex Pansier’s photograph, entitled Jumping Jack, which has been shortlisted for the main prize at the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2022. It captures a red squirrel jumping during a rainstorm in Maashorst, The Netherlands. He wanted to show his teacher and the other boys in his class this great find.
