Ms. O’ Dell’s 3rd class boys had an amazing time on their school tour last week! The boys went to Footee. They had 6 different activities throughout the day, including; laser tag, foot golf, bubble football, dodgeball, human foosball and foot darts, It was a great day as can be seen from the photos, the boys greatly enjoyed it.

James Scally in Ms. O’Dell’s 3rd class had a busy weekend with his karate grading. He has progressed from an orange belt to a red stripe belt. This is his fifth belt! He has been a part of his karate club ‘Kaizen Dojo’ for almost 2 years! Big congratulations to James!

Unfortunately it was not to be for our senior green team who were narrowly defeated in Croke Park by a strong St. Fiachra’s team. The 2023 St. Pius X Sports Day took place in Bushy Park on a June 9th. Thankfully the sun shone as all the boys had a wonderful time in the park, completing all the stations set up by Ms. Goddard. The boys in Mr. Kealy’s 4th class finished off Well-Being week with a popping day. The boys couldn’t control their excitement to get their hands on popcorn.

The boys in Ms. Devenney’s 2nd class had a great Well-being Week, experiencing pizza massages and smoothies, as well as the circus and large playground games.

The boys in Ms. Robinson’s class enjoyed their drumming workshop. Another part of an action packed Well-being week. It may have been tough on the teachers ears, but the boys didn’t seem to mind. They also enjoyed their time as circus performers. Although they may look easy, these skills took a lot of time and concentration to master.

As part of well-being week, the boys across the school were treated to smoothies by the schools well being committee. All classes had the blenders at the ready to make tasty smoothies using loads of fruits and berries. Ms. Stewarts class can be seen enjoying their smoothies.
