Ms Gallagher’s Senior Infants headed off on Friday to Lullymore Farm for the boys second school tour in St. Pius X. The weather was great and the boys had a great time on the farm, mingling with the animals.

Charlie in Mr. Geraghty’s 6th Class brought in his Cup Final Trophy he recently won with Templeogue United. The tournament started 17 weeks ago, with games every two weekends. The final was played in Tipperary. His team came from 2-0 down to eventually win the game 3-2. Charlie has played a starring role for Saint Pius Soccer team this year,

The boys in Ms. O Kelly’s Junior infants have been very busy this month as they investigated mini beasts around the school. As you can see from the pictures, the boys welcomed visitors to the classroom. Mr. Coyle usually welcomes all visitors to St. Pius X BNS but on this occasion he gave it a miss.

On Monday we finished our 11 a side league games against a very strong Saint Marks side in Tallaght. The game ended 3-3 with a great performance from all the boys. Thank you to the parents who helped with lifts during the term.

The boys in 6th class celebrated Europe Day to mark Irelands 50th year in the European Union. Global Citizenship is an important topic covered in 6th class and the boys learned about the role of the European Union and the benefits of being a member. He tasked the boys with identifying the odd-one-out from a set of symbols by working out which symbol does not follow the same rule as the others.
