The boys in Junior Infants took delivery of their lovely colourful new mats this week. Already the boys have got great use out of them. With the help of their teachers, Ms. O Neill and Ms. Stewart, the boys are thinking up more and more ways they can use the mats.
Our Senior soccer team had their second outing last week in Larkview v our near rivals. St. Joseph’s Terenure. After a very tight contest, the boys came away with a victory. Well done to both teams on a very sporty match.

Well done to Cillian and Fiach in 6th class who refereed in Croke Park at half time of the National League Div 1 & 2 finals over the Easter holidays. With over 50,000 in the stadium, the boys gave an excellent display in refereeing, following in the footsteps of our former teacher Mr. Gough. Well done boys!
St. Pius X BNS is now closed for Easter Break. The school will reopen on Monday April 8th for the beginning of term 3. We wish all our school community a happy and healthy Easter break.
After month’s of preparation, the time has finally arrived for our musical production. With over 250 children involved and 1200 tickets sold, the next few nights will bring great energy and excitement to St. Pius X BNS
St. Pius X BNS was full of green on Friday last for our annual St. Patrick’s day parade. Our junior end had a great time, cheering for our GNS neighbours.
The Junior infants in Ms. O’Neill’s brought in their favourite books for World Book Day. The enthusiasm to share their favourite story was a joy to behold!
Ms. O’Neill’s Junior Infants boys invited their buddy class from the Girls’ School over to the classroom for a play date! Ms. McNamara’s Junior Infant girls had a great time! They are going to host another meet-up soon!!
Our senior hurlers got off to a great start to the season with a well deserved win over our near neighbours St. Joesph’s BNS in the South Dublin Hurling tournament. Thanks to Terenure College for providing the venue. Mr. Faherty and the team now prepare for the Cumann na mBunscol leagues which begin after Easter.
