The student council wish to thank all parents and families for theie donation of clothes to the St. Pius X  Clothes Pod fundraiser. Such was the amount collected, there had to be two collections. Well done to the student council who coordinated the fundraiser. The monies raised will go towards equipment for the new yard activities Mr Reamonn is unveiling

As part of St. Pius X BNS’s healthy eating policy, the boys enjoyed their freshly delivered fruit and Vegetables as part of the Food Dudes programme. The boys sampled all different types of foods and enjoyed the experience.

Ms. O Neill’s boys had a great time in Lullymore for their school tour on Friday. The boys had a great trip and particularly enjoyed going on the bus.

Ms Gallagher’s Senior Infants headed off on Friday to Lullymore Farm for the boys second school tour in St. Pius X. The weather was great and the boys had a great time on the farm, mingling with the animals.

Ms. O’Neill’s Senior Infant boys and Ms. McGuinness’ Senior Infant girls teamed up for a Teddy Bears’ Picnic last week. Friendships old and new were enjoyed and it was wonderful to see the boys and girls playing so happily together! Thank you to the girls for inviting us along!! Enjoy the photos. . .

Charlie in Mr. Geraghty’s 6th Class brought in his Cup Final Trophy he recently won with Templeogue United. The tournament started 17 weeks ago, with games every two weekends. The final was played in Tipperary. His team came from 2-0 down to eventually win the game 3-2. Charlie has played a starring role for Saint Pius Soccer team this year,

Patrick in Ms. O Sullivan’s 5th class achieved success recently winning gold at the O.N.A.K.A.I. National Championships in Tallaght. Well done Patrick.

The boys in Ms. O Kelly’s Junior infants have been very busy this month as they investigated mini beasts around the school. As you can see from the pictures, the boys welcomed visitors to the classroom. Mr. Coyle usually welcomes all visitors to St. Pius X BNS but on this occasion he gave it a miss.
