The boys in Mr. Smyth’s 6th class headed off on Thursday to the Lidl Farm and distribution centre for a tour. The boys looked at how food is produced and distributed. The sun was splitting the stones and the boys even got to feed the cows.

Our Senior Greens had a great win in their semi-final V St. Patrick’s BNS, Drumcondra on Wednesday in Terenure College. In what was a very tense game, we managed to come out on top, with goals coming at a crucial time. We now look forward to a final in Croke Park on June 12/13th. More details to follow. Well done

First Class had a tree-ly great time in Bushy Park today! The boys started off with a nature walk where they searched for signs of animal life as well as looking out for different types of trees. The boys then had a picnic before heading to the playground for lots of fun and games!

Well done to Theo from Ms. Pleamonn’s 2nd Class, who competed in the National Gymnastics competition last Saturday in Sport Ireland’s Indoor area. First Holy Communion took place for the three 2nd classes on Saturday in St. Pius X Church. Thanks to Ms. Devenney, Ms. Dunne and Ms. Pleamonn for preparing the boys and to Fr. The student council wish to thank all parents and families for theie donation of clothes to the St. Pius X  Clothes Pod fundraiser. Such was the amount collected, there had to be two collections. Well done to the student council who coordinated the fundraiser. The monies raised will go towards equipment for the new yard activities Mr Reamonn is unveiling

As part of St. Pius X BNS’s healthy eating policy, the boys enjoyed their freshly delivered fruit and Vegetables as part of the Food Dudes programme. The boys sampled all different types of foods and enjoyed the experience.

Ms Gallagher’s Senior Infants headed off on Friday to Lullymore Farm for the boys second school tour in St. Pius X. The weather was great and the boys had a great time on the farm, mingling with the animals.
