For the last few weeks all the boys in Ms. Hunt’s 3rd Class have been working as hard as Santa’s elves. Using Smyth’s catalogues, they created these amazing carol singers. Hopefully the carol singers will be admired for many years to come in each of their homes.

Mr. Coyle was delighted to welcome back a familiar face to St. Pius X BNS today. Professor Michael O’Leary as he is known now lectures in Education (Assessment) in DCU and has recently retired. Prof O’Leary taught in St. Pius X BNS for many years and has been a firm friend of our community ever since! We wish him well

Our last and arguably our best show was Ms. Herity’s production of Christmas with the Aliens. With an all star cast, the boys delivered a flawless performance, wowing the crowd and receiving a number of standing ovations. Well done to all the boys. Our attention now turns to next Wednesday’s Carol Services.

Our final show of our Thursday programme was the unmissable Light’s, Camel, Action, performed by the boys in Ms. Pleamonn’s class. All the practices clearly paid off as the boys put on a flawless show, helped too by some excellent costumes. Well done boys!

Another huge performance took place today at 11.00am with Ms. Stewart’s boys next up on stage. Ralph the Reindeer was the play and the boys knocked it out of the park. All the hard work, learning lines and actions paid off with the boys maiden performance on stage a huge hit with the full house crowd. Well done boys!!

And now to the main events, our Junior Infant plays. For many of our boys it is their debut in the musical world. They took to the stage like ducks to water. The boys in Ms. Dunne’s had the final performance of Tuesday’s schedule and boy did they finish the day with a bang. Those early November practices really paid off as the boys brought down the house with laughs and joke. Well done boys.

Ms. O’ Regan’s boys took to the stage yesterday at the matinee performance with their interpretation of Christmas with the Aliens. The costume department went all out and the boys gave a display worthy of the Bord Gais. Well done boys.
