Ms. McWeeney’s Junior Infants got to meet up with their big buddies from Mr. Geraghty’s class on Friday. The boys were so lucky to have some 6th class expertise to help with their Autumn leaf art. We can’t wait for the next meet up.
We had a visit from the new Principal of Templeogue College, Mr. Dowling to talk about secondary school and their Open Day on 10th October next Thursday. He was joined by the school’s Captain and Vice Captain, both of whom are ex Pius pupils, Joshua Walker and Dara Commins.
The Senior Green’s coached by Mr. Finnegan and Ms. O’Dell played their final match yesterday against a very challenging St. Mary’s BNS, Rathfarnham. Both of our Junior Football Teams have hit the ground running this year. Our Junior Greens won their first two games against local rivals St. Mary’s, Rathfarnham and St. Joseph’s, Terenure. While our Junior Whites narrowly lost their first game against St. Mary’s, but had a superb game and win vs St. Joseph’s in Terenure College. Both teams will play …
Danny Curran had a great weekend at the Karate National Championships. His super performances were rewarded with not one, but TWO gold medals. Amazing stuff Danny, keep up the great work.
