On Wednesday 2nd April, St. Pius X BNS was represented by a team of our 6th class boys ( Shay, William, Aidan and Sean, pictured here with Mr. Réamonn) in the County Finals of the Ballyroan Library Inter-School Quiz. Having held the lead for the first seven rounds, the Pius boys were strong contenders for the win. However, the final round concluded with a two-way tie for first place. A tight tie-breaker round resulted in the boys ultimately finishing in second place, a considerable achievement for a County Final… losing out on the win by a single point! As always, the boys from St. Pius did us proud. Well done boys and congratulations on your brilliant performance.
