After a number of attempts, our senior greens got the well deserved success of winning the Corn Marino in Croke Park on Monday last. After a hard fought league campaign, the team, under the supervision of Mr. Faherty & Mr. Finnegan, were motivated with only one thing on their minds.
It was a tightly fough contest throughout with St. Oliver Plunketts Malahide but with all 21 members of the panel giving it their all, the boys came away with the victory. Well done to the boys. A short reception was held in the hall after the match and thanks to Bernie Anderson for catering the event. In what has been a very busy few days in St. Pius X BNS, this is surely one of the highlights of the year.
