Ms. Crosbie’s class were so lucky to be visited by Conor Hewitt’s mum today who works as a scientist. The boys got to carry out two experiments, testing the reaction of different chemicals and materials. They first made ‘jetpacks’ out in the yard. Hopefully they didn’t disturb the rest of the school with all of the popping and explosions! They then came back into the classroom to make slime and even got to bring home what they made. Thanks so much to Aoife for coming in and working with the boys. First class definitely have some future scientists in the making!
