GET READY TO COUNT YOUR KILOMETERS TO SUPPORT YOUR SCHOOL.

THE PRIZE – “CLASS FUN DAY™
How to take part:
Over the first weekend in April (Fri 1st – Sun 3rd April) the children are asked to get out and get active. Parents/Guardians are asked to log the total kilometres their child completes in any activities they like over the three days. Any activity counts. This can be done using various phone apps, Fitbits or just knowing what distance a particular activity has covered.
Like last year, for those using Fitbits/Step trackers, we will use the conversion of 1,250 Steps = 1 Kilometre
How to Enter:
Parents/Guardians are asked to send one message to your designated class rep with the total kilometres your child completed over the weekend,
i.e. One Message = Total Kilometres.
Your designated class rep for this fundraiser will be in touch via the Class Whatsapp the week before the event.
The deadline for texting your class rep with Kilometres completed is 6pm on Monday 4th April.
In the interest of fairness, we will not take any entries after the deadline has passed.
The Prize:
“Class Fun Day”: This will be an exciting day for the winning classes with no schoolwork and lots of fun and surprises!
We will have two winners in both schools, one for the junior classes (Junior Infants – 2nd) and one for the senior classes (3rd – 6th).
Kilometres completed for each child in the class will go towards a class total.
The class with the longest distance completed will win the Prize!!
