The 2025 Cumann na mBunscol season commences this week with both our senior hurling teams out against St. Colmcilles SNS, Knocklyon. The boys in Ms. Pleamonn’s 2nd class have been busy this week tending to the schools flower beds, As well as this, the boys have also been preparing for the future by sowing some potatoes. These will be ready to harvest when the boys return in September. Well done to our your green fingers.

On Thursday 20th March, St. Pius X BNS was represented by two teams of boys from 5th and 6th classes in the local round of the Ballyroan Library Inter-School Quiz. Well done to Tom, Aodhán and Sam who represented St. Pius X at half time in the Dublin Galway match last weekend in Croke Park. All three boys were busy on the night, particularly Aodhán who was the man in the middle for the match. No doubt the boys will be playing in Croke Park in the future.
